The greatest gastronomical event of the fall season at the Park Holiday is the opening of the new Tetu Brissy aeronautical restaurant in the spaces of the former Hliněnka restaurant. It is a very new, attractive and individual project whose implementation has been in preparation for many months.
The restaurant’s interior has changed dramatically. It is now dominated by a three-dimensional airship by painter and graphic artist Tomáš Bím, and the walls are decorated by original paintings and drawings of balloons and airships by renowned contemporary artists. The restaurant bears the name of the French pioneer of aeronautics Tetu Brissy, who became famous mainly thanks to his extravagant flights with live horses.
The restaurant’s gastronomic offer is entirely new as well – behind its name hides a real human and historical story is hidden. The menu is fancy and based on honest home-made cuisine, as was the cuisine of the 19th century. The new meals of traditional Czech cuisine include, for example, an old Czech dish called bejlík, which is a confit of duck breast, or the popular beef roast in cream sauce.back »
